Quality commitment:
All of our products are Money-Back Guaranteed Quality
We are committed to bringing you the highest quality, professional and clinical-strength tinctures. These are the exact products I prescribe to my clients in my herbal home health care. We source our herbs from suppliers who do controlled testing on all herbs that arrive in their facilities. These are grown to USDA or ACO organic certifications or are hand picked by wild-crafters at their prime time of growth for maximum potency. Most herbal products in the health shops use poorly-cultivated methods because the herbs are cheap. These formulas and products are used on my patients and as I am devoted in both my time and commitment to getting them well, I will not cheat on the quality and potency of these products. That is a PROMISE FROM ME TO YOU.
Our products are aged for potency and cold-pressed without any heat extraction. This is to preserve the natural potency of the medicinal properties. Our products may cost a little more than some other products on the market, but the high quality and high concentration which give them their strength is what you are paying for, and is what will ultimately save you money in the long run. A little will go a long way, unlike many others which are watered down and far less potent. Try our products just once and find out the difference!
Why does one product taste different than an earlier product I purchased?
Each batch we make can taste different. This because the raw material can come from different sources, different farmers and from different seasons.
Our products are made from the whole herb and the batches will change.
Why are most of my products in the alcohol liquid form and not in capsules or glycerites?
Our products are made in tincture form. Capsules are not as good, and can be a lot harder for the digestive tract to break down. This is especially the case with hard roots, barks and tannins. The herbs are much more soluble when they are extracted by alcohol. All of the ancient formulates have used alcohol to extract all the medicinal properties out of the herbs. When the herbs are extracted through age there is a much more potent tincture. The alcohol will carry the medicinal properties right into the bloodstream and to the area that needs the nutrients. If you are alcohol-sensitive, you can boil 30ml of water and put your dropperful of tincture in and the alcohol will evaporate, still leaving the goodness extracted from the herbs. However, a regular dosage of two dropper fulls is about the same amount of alcohol in a ripe banana.
Perhaps one of the biggest benefits would be that alcohol tinctures have a shelf life of many years. You can stock up for any emergency situation or to just have some on hand. We give discounts for bulk buys. Give us a call to find out more!

Quality Assurance Testing
Wholistic Botanicals LLC make all of Dr. Christopher’s formulas and source all the single herbs. Here at Medicinal Herb Store, we buy from Dr. Christopher’s source, so all our herbs are put through this rigorous testing procedure. So you can buy from us with confidence that the herbs you get are both safe and effective.
The following is a statement by Wholistic Botanicals LLC:
The quality of a dietary supplement cannot be determined by merely testing the finished product. To produce a quality herbal dietary supplement the quality must be built in at every stage of the manufacturing process beginning with the sourcing of each raw material. It is Wholistic Botanical’s policy to identity and verify each raw material against a vouchered/verified sample that a botanist has positively identified as a specific species of herb. One or more of the following tests are used to accomplish this identity verification:
1. High Performance Thin Layer Chromatography
2. High Performance Liquid Chromatography
3. Gas Chromatography
4. Organoleptic
After the identity has been verified each raw material is then tested for microbiological and heavy metal contaminates. These tests include:
1. Aerobic
2. Yeast
3. Mold
4. Coliform
5. E-coli
6. Salmonella
7. ICP-MS for Heavy Metals
Each of the tests mentioned are performed before and after each raw material is purchased. These tests are again performed on each lot of each finished product manufactured. Wholistic Botanicals LLC has made a commitment to only utilize the best raw materials available. This means that Sulfate free vegetarian capsules are used in all of our encapsulated products, Kosher Glycerin derived from Palm is used in our Glycerin Extracts, and wild crafted and organic non-treated or steam treated herbs are used when available.
I have often heard from concerned customers regarding the occasional use of non-organic or wild crafted herbs in our products. There are various reasons that this may occur such as failed crops or poor quality organic or wild crafted herbs. Although uncommon our company has sourced organic herbs that have failed one or more of the quality tests that we perform. For example we have sourced Organic Goldenseal Root that did not pass several of the quality tests that we perform. This particular lot of Organic Goldenseal Root was white in color when it should have been a deep gold. After further testing using High Performance Thin Layer chromatography it was determined that this lot was Goldenseal however it was clearly altered and contaminated. Needless to say that lot of Organic Goldenseal Root was not approved for purchase. Another example occurred when we had sourced Horsetail grass that had been contaminated with another herb and did not pass our identity test. Although it is uncommon, sometimes a better option than ordering a poor quality organic or wild crafted herb is to source conventionally grown herbs that are non GMO and are pesticide free.
After the highest quality herbs are selected, they are then manufactured in compliance with Current Good Manufacturing Practices. Medicinal Herb Store Formulas are manufactured without the use of excipients or fillers. Excipients and fillers are commonly used in herbal dietary supplements not because of their superior nutritional value, but because they speed up the encapsulating process. The problem is that the consumer pays for ingredients that have little or no nutritional value. Medicinal Herb Store provides dietary supplements that are designed to aid the body in cleansing and nourishing the body, not an encapsulating machine!
Medicinal Herb Store sales continue to grow even in this unique economy because our customers get the results they are expecting for competitive prices. Providing quality has to be a planned and does not happen by mistake! Our Quality Assurance policies go above and beyond what is required by the TGA mandated Current Good Manufacturing Practices. What we do at Medicinal Herb Store is important but how we do it is even of more importance. We manufacture our products to the highest quality standard because it is the right thing to do and it is what Dr. John R. Christopher intended for his all his students. We appreciate all our customers who continue to use and teach about our great products.
