Who Needs a Kidney Cleanse?

How it works:

This herbal extract contains a number of herbs that have traditionally been used to promote liver and bladder health. In particular, they have been used to promote a healthy urine flow, cleanse and disinfect the urinary tract, and dissolve calcium deposits that so many people have in their kidneys.

• Uva Ursi leaf: one of the best-known diuretic herbs, which stimulates the kidneys to produce urine. This helps to naturally disinfect the kidneys and bladder. Uva Ursi also acts as an effective cleanser to your kidney and bladder. Additionally, this herb contains strong phytochemicals, such as malic and gallic acids, which promote the health of the urinary tract
• Juniper Berry: like Uva Ursi, this herb acts as both a diuretic and a cleanser to the kidneys and bladder.
• Corn Silk: another soothing and relaxing diuretic herb which has traditionally been used to ease bladder infections in both children and adults. This herb is used to detoxify and reduce deposits and other irritants from the kidneys and bladder—it is for this reason that is has been so widely used to remove kidney stones and by those who experience frequent urination, including those with prostate problems.
• Horsetail: contains phytochemicals which have a diuretic effect on the body. Horsetail has also been used by those with edema. Horsetail has astringent properties, yet is very soothing which is why it has often been used in cases of blood in the urine.
• Parsley Leaf and root: also has diuretic properties to promote good kidney and bladder health. Parsley has traditionally been used to clear out waste from swollen joints, and expelling them from the body through the kidneys.

How to Take this kidney cleanse:
